Winch hook straps are a simple winch attachment that can improve the security of your winching. Utilize it to keep the line under tension when playing the cable or reeling the winch cable back into the drum. Nylon or polyester is well-commonly used for these, and they are attached to the winch wire's end. Because the winch will jam with the hook before your hand or fingers get there, the winch hook strap keeps them away from the fair lead. Normally, winch hook straps glide onto the cable hook as soon as the gate opens. But sometimes, the strap might come undone.
