Volvo Penta Stud is a threaded rod. The Stud is a proportionally long rod that is threaded on both ends. The Stud will likely extend through the complete length of the rod. The Studs often have an unthreaded middle section of the shaft and are typically threaded on both ends. Studs do not have a head compared to bolts.
Volvo Penta Stud provides the ability to obtain exact rotational measures and does not twist during tightening as do bolts. The studs remain stationary during nut tightening. The studs provide much more even and accurate clamping forces because it stretches in one axis alone.
Volvo Penta Stud is corrosion-resistance, ductile, and high strength.
