Faria Dress White -7000 RPM 4" gauge Tachometer features a perimeter-lighted white dial with a contoured black pointer and bold black graphics. Finished with a bezel made of white powder-coated aluminum and clear flat glass, scratch-resistant, and anti-fog lens. This product is a size 4" gauge and requires a 3.375" (85 mm) mounting hole.
An electronic tachometer works by using a magnetic pickup located near a rotating engine part to produce electrical pulses related to the engine's speed. The user needs to know the revolution per minute (RPM) of the engine and its capabilities to avoid risking unnecessary damage to the engine.
