Sierra's 18-5741 Voltage Regulator is designed for Mercury engines with charging systems of 16 or 40 amps (1981-1991). CDI 194-5279 and Mercury Marine 12082A1, 12082A7, 12082A8, 815279-1, 815279A2 are interchangeable. Sierra products meet or exceed the specifications of the original equipment part they replace.
