Description

These water-cooled seals are in charge of creating an airtight seal with the regulator's metallic components. For the pressure regulator to function correctly, these gaskets also make it easier for water to circulate inside the regulator. The function of the water regulator seal is to permit exhalation of air from the pleural space and to forbid inhalation of air into the pleural cavity or mediastinum. A 2 cm water seal is created when the water seal chamber is filled with sterile fluid up to that line. A water-cooled seal's construction material plays a crucial role in its performance.
