VOLVO TRIM RELAY - 18-5700 It regulates the opening and shutting of an electrical circuit's connections. It is controlled by a toggle button on the control lever or the dash. Over a 20-degree range, hydraulic rams are utilized in the trim system to change the angle of the outboard motor or sterndrive gearcase, and when propeller shaft angle shaft, relative to the boat transom.
Designed for stern drive applications by OMC and Volvo Penta. Arco R809, OMC Stern Drive 3858081, 3858809, and Volvo Penta 3858081, 3858809 are interchangeable. Single pole double throw (SPDT) relay with resistor, 20/40 amps.
