This product does not harm the boat engine but only assists in the smooth and safe operations of the boat. This product from SeaStar Solutions is an OEM direct-replacement type cable designed to fit Mercury, Mariner, OMC OEM engine control heads which use a proprietary control cable connection. This cable has 10 to 32 threaded terminals at the control end and Mercury-type engine end. This product has a splined, coated core that minimizes lost motion and control and offers maximum smoothness for complex and/or long runs.

Features: Premium cables have a heavy jacket and the TFXTREME® splined, coated core element for maximum smoothness with minimal lost motion. (4" minimum bend radius.) Standard cables use stainless steel LubriCore core wire for smooth operation and long life (8" minimum bend radius).

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
