Sierra catalyst compatible engine oil (CAT oil) provides the same industry-leading wear and deposit protection as their other oils and is approved for use in any 4-stroke marine engine, but it was specifically engineered to reduce phosphorous depletion and extend the life of emission catalyst systems. This mineral-based oil provides increased corrosion protection to internal engine parts while also offering further protection for the extremes found in marine applications. Sierra catalyst oil is resistant to thermal and oxidative destruction, and it contains viscosity stabilizers to avoid thinning at high temperatures. It will protect your boat's emission system and internal engine components.
