The heavyweight cloth backing can be dry or lubricant and withstand high pressures. It also works well on heat-sensitive metals.
When grinding in high-pressure settings, the 2 X 132 120GRIT BELT (10/Pack) (8-81687-PK) incorporates a film splice for increased strength. An L-flex belt provides more flexibility than a regular flex belt for increased conformance or a gentler touch for finishing and mixing. A full-flex belt provides the most flexibility.
