For 8" and 12" fenders, it's galvanized flush mount fender brackets. There are two brackets on each fender. These ultra-durable brackets are 6-3/8"H x 5-3/4"W and have pre-punched holes for 3/8" bolts (not supplied). These are super strong. They will not shatter or bend like the old ones if someone walks on your bumper. They should be able to withstand the trailer's lifespan.

Fenders, whether inflated or soft foam, cylindrical, spherical, or flat, soften the force of vessels colliding with docks or other vessels. When the boat swells and rolls about, they protect it from danger and slow it down.
