If the engine is not used for several months, the impeller blades will rust and may become stuck or fall off when the engine begins. Due to the environment, the impeller ages more quickly in saltwater. The sturdy rubber structure utilized in the IMPELLER 18-45404 from Sea Star Solutions and tightly fitted into the water pump can last longer even when used frequently. This impeller is a high-grade construction that was specifically designed and produced in accordance with strict industry requirements to offer a well-balanced design, high quality, and precision. It is intended to be used with Nissan/Tohatsu outboard motors that have 50, 60, and 70 horsepower.
