The Volvo Penta Forward Drive is designed expressly for this purpose. These propellers are durable stainless steel, which allows them to accelerate swiftly and reach high speeds. The unusual bushing made of a naval brass reduces vibrations and stress on drive train components by galvanically isolating the stainless-steel propeller from the aluminum drive casting, preventing corrosion. Top speed, acceleration, and durability are all improved to a comparable aluminum propeller. Considering the blade configuration and through-hub exhaust design is critical for achieving high efficiency and performance.
