SPEEDOMETER (F33819) is a systematic device which tubes under the boat help gauge speed. The tube goes through the boat's hull and then down below into the water. Air pressure changes as the boat speed up, then it is measured by a gauge at the end of the tube on your dashboard. Thereafter it will give an estimate of the boat's speed.
SPEEDOMETER (F33819) functions by using the pitometer. It works by comparing how fast a vessel is going against the speed of the water traveled. It works by measuring the speed of water coming into a tube compared to air pressure to give an estimated speed figure.
SPEEDOMETER (F33819) location is well above the waterline and angled down at a 45-degree angle. For installation insert the pitot into the hole to connect it to the pressure tube. Secure the pressure tube in place with cable clips and sealant. Then the other end of the pressure tube connects to the speedometer display.
