The ultimate objective of every boater is to navigate the water with assurance while avoiding motor damage. The EMP THERMOSTAT is one essential part; it helps stop cooling water from reaching the cylinder walls until there is sufficient heat for effective combustion.
It typically ranges from 50 to 60 degrees Celsius. Then it opens to let the water out before overheating happens and can cause damage to the outboard motor. It replaces 6CE-12411-00-00 and is appropriate for F225, 250, and 300 HP applications from 2006 and up.
