VALVE COVER GASKET - 18-0808 is an engine component that keeps oil from exiting the engine and protects the cylinder head components from the weather. The gasket is comprised of plastic, rubber, or cork and acts as a two-way barrier between the engine cover and the engine. It's also in charge of sealing off a lot of spark plug ports to keep them safe against spark plug fluid leaks. Yamaha 6G5-11382-A1-00 is a compatible replacement for Yamaha outboard motors.
