A contact set is a type of electrical switch that usually refers to the switching component of the ignition system found in the distributor of internal combustion engines not fueled by diesel. Inside the distributor, it features an insulated bushed hole for mounting on a pin that is secured by a spring washer at the top of the pin. This contact breaker assembly includes an insulated cam follower as well as make and break springing contacts. GLM 70082, Volvo Penta 1306169, 243799, and 243460 are all interchangeable.
