In comparison to standard twin-tube shock absorbers, the Seastar Gas shock absorber has extra performance advantages that can instantaneously, automatically respond to your performance needs, and never fades due to aeration. The Seastar Gas-a-just is available in a monotube replacement and a performance enhancement for OE twin tubes. The Seastar Gas-a-just has two working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas region with a floating piston for a pleasant ride while driving and quick performance on demand. Gas shocks are energy storage elements that are hydro-pneumatic. Nitrogen gas and oil serve as compressible and damping (motion control) mediums.
